My Musts Of The Month: November 2021

Red-y For It

Of course Red (Taylor’s Version) would be featured on this month’s list! Taylor Swift re-released her fourth studio album, Red, this month, with a whole host of new songs alongside her previously released pieces. The album also features something Swifties have been waiting to hear for years, and that is the ten minute version of her heartbreak anthem, All Too Well. This ten minute song also has a ‘short film’ accompanying it which is available on Youtube.

A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes

Cinderella had yet another re-telling this year. This time, it starred Camila Cabello as Cinderella, Idina Menzel as the slightly-less-than-usual-wicked stepmother, and a whole host of famous faces. This Amazon Prime original came out in September, but I watched it this month, so I have included it in November’s list! Make sure to listen to the highlight of the film’s soundtrack; an original song called Million to One sung by Cabello – it’s beautiful.

Good Grief

As someone who has experienced grief in their life, and written a bit about it, I have to recommend The End Of The Beginning, written by Julia Lawton, on this month’s list. This true story is all about finding hope after heartbreak, but it doesn’t skip all the pain, shock and confusion that goes alongside it. This book will remind those who have faced loss that they are not alone, and will bring encouragement to those who need it.

I hope you enjoy all of these; let me know in the comments!

With Love, Abi X
