Abi's World

This time a year ago, I was at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. By this point, spending every day at the hospital had become my new normal. At this amazing place, the staff were not just doctors, nurses, therapists and physios, but had become friends and almost part of our family.
Although the NHS can make people wait for hoouuursss and definitely has its faults, overall it is one of the best things (if not THE best thing) about Britain. This week is NHS week and this is my appreciation post to the NHS. From doctors to surgeons to GPs to paramedics to nurses to porters to therapists to midwives to drivers to carers to hospital cleaners to kitchen staff to assistants and everyone in between: You guys are awesome! (Well, most of you…there are always one or two that let the team down tbh 🙈😳) RNOH is a true treasure though.
